Do you tend to feel overwhelmed when the stressors of life pile up?
I get it!

Finding healthy ways to deal with stress can seem like a tedious journey, especially when you have a busy schedule to begin with.
I’ve gone through many avenues of dealing with my stress, and unfortunately the only one I felt for years helped me was eating. Have you ever heard of someone being an emotional eater, well yeah that was me! That’s another discussion for another day haha.

Do you ever have..
Stress before there’s even something to stress about?
Then stress about stressing about something that doesn't need to be stressed about?
Here is what that looks like:
Stress-Ok but what if-
Me-I’ve gone over this 100 times already-
Stress-I know, but since then I’ve found 10 new reasons to stress-
Me-ok im listening-
You sit there paralyzed having this conversation in your head, and no one truly knows the debate that’s taking place behind your smile but you!
Now its time to ask yourself the hard questions..
Is stressing over this going to change the outcome?
Is stressing over this good for my overall health?
Stress makes my body feel..?
For the people who do struggle with stress, ask yourself these questions and see how you feel after. Do any of your answers bring you peace?
The 5 things..
Not everything works for everybody!
You have to want to change and find healthy ways to grow in this world.
Follow these tips to see if they help you as much as they helped me:
Calm- Being able to calm yourself during a time of stress is vital to having a healthy mindset. You can only be calm if you allow yourself to be in the moment of what’s happening and the thoughts that go on in your mind.
Clarity- Being clear on your goals, values, and priorities helps avoid all the overwhelming feelings that come with stress. Uncertainty is what stress stems from so making sure you have a clear idea of what's important in your life is key.
Compassion-Stop comparing yourself to others, and start being kind to yourself. This feeds stress when we have no compassion towards ourselves.
Concentration-Stop letting the outside world distract you from your own goals, and what’s important to you. Concentration comes from being committed and dedicated yourself!
Courage-Remaining stagnant is not going to get you the life you want and deserve. Find the courage everyday to better yourself even if you think you aren't ready. Little steps add up to big ones.
